Hey fans! TeamTopHat here, back again with a new development blog! We are so close to the end of development with only a few weeks left to go, we want to thank everyone for their continued support and hope you stick through until the very end.
For this development, we will be diving into the production of marketing materials as we work towards getting the game into the public view, along with some tweaks to existing mechanics and features, furthermore, we will be talking about the newer additions we will be implementing in the foreseeable future.
Production of Marketing Materials:
In order to catch the public gaze of our game as well as have a bit of fun with design, we wanted to develop various marketing materials to better show off our game, this involved the design of game covers, collector's edition, banners, art book, press kit and a trailer showcasing our game. This will all be shown off at a later date on the socials and website.
Trailer 2 Development:
To co-align with the development of our game and our marketing, a trailer had to be developed. This is something we worked very hard on and are very proud of how it turned out. The trailer will be released at a later date and hope you are looking forward to seeing it!
Tweaks To Gameplay & Features:
More fixes and tweaks have been implemented in order to ensure a smooth experience at launch, some of these changes include bug fixes for the theatre room mechanics, tweaks to enemy ai and overall optimization.
Addition Of New Features:
As we are finalizing the game, the addition of more sound effects as well as interactions were something that players wanted based on feedback results. Players can interact with more assets in the scenes and will play a little animation as a result, this was very fun to do and made the player feel like they had a lot more choices.
Digital Art Book:
A digital artbook will also be developed, consisting of 2D and 3D Artwork/Assets that will showcase them all in a presentable format. This will be downloadable on the website and no plans for a physical copy are there.
Conclusion:
We are so close to the finishing point, with two major milestones left to complete, the final pitch presentation and the implementation of the revamped Maze Dungeon, development will end by the 13th of May. Thank you to everyone for your continuous support, we at TeamTopHat really appreciate it!
